  • BC Rent Bank, a project of Vancity Community Foundation, engaged Victoria and Krystal to develop a three-year strategic plan. Within a tight timeline, they facilitated a stakeholder-led approach, drawing from the existing knowledge and insights within the rent bank network to lay out a clear vision and pathway for the work ahead. Our network of rent banks and government stakeholders were brought along in the journey, resulting in a plan that reflects those it seeks to serve. It reinforces our current work and creates additional layers of impact for homelessness prevention.

  • Krystal supported us to convene a gathering of community partners to discuss new ways forward in collaboration and action for the DTES. Through a thoughtful process design, Krystal helped us deepen relationship-building within the Community Coordinated Response Network (CCRN) and uncover new ways to work together around shared concerns. In a few hours we were able to draw a lot of voices into the room. The atmosphere she created was supportive and generative, creating multiple ways for participants to share their ideas and identify concrete ideas for action.

    — Jennifer Johnstone, President & CEO, Central City Foundation

  • Victoria is a brilliant thought partner, mentor and strategic mind. While her focus for our work together was thought leadership, her breadth of expertise meant her recommendations and her support extended to developing partnerships, getting clarity on our strategy, and mapping out a path for Blueprint to have the impact we need.

    — Nicky Dhaliwal, Director of Engagement and Partnerships, Blueprint

  • How do systems reorient to achieve lasting, sustainable wholeness? You'll only know if you study the system, map the landscape, listen to stories, imagine the future, and truly become a partner in its emergence. It's with a deep skillset that Mutatio is leading us to a new world, where all-new maps are needed. Krystal's influences and experience (which span international relations, dialogue, peace and conflict transformation, and reconciliation) give her a uniquely qualified edge to peek over the horizon. I trust Krystal and Mutatio deeply to be able to facilitate groups, lead organizations, and empower communities towards real change.

    — Kevan Gilbert, Founder and CEO, Co.School

  • Victoria’s work on the Face of Leadership Scorecard has been a crucial step in ensuring Minerva creates the most impactful change for diversity in leadership. Within a short timeframe, Victoria delved into the research, and interviewed team members, Board and wider stakeholders to truly understand Minerva’s challenges, priorities and visions for the future. She clearly articulated a forward-thinking strategy that was innovative, yet practical, and integrated with our wider portfolio. We are excited to continue our work with her in the re-development this central pillar to improving leadership diversity.

    — Tina Strehlke, Executive Director, Minvera Foundation

  • Krystal's well-designed process and skillful facilitation created an open and inclusive environment, fostering meaningful discussions and consensus-building around our strategic goals and organizational values. As a result, we have a holistic and comprehensive strategic plan that has gained strong support within our organization, positions us for impactful growth and meets our mission to create more affordable homes in the communities we serve.

    — Lilian Chau, CEO, Entre Nous Femmes Housing Society

  • Victoria is one of the most accomplished, strategic and innovative leaders I have had the opportunity to work with. During our very early days with start-up, Maturn, Victoria was brought on as a consultant, thought partner and advisor. Her ability to discern through large amounts of data and research, and succinctly pull together a compelling, thoughtful and inspirational business case helped us secure much-needed funding, grant opportunities and media attention.

    — Jen Murtagh, Co-Founder, Maturn

  • Vancity hired Mutatio to better understand how climate change and economic resilience are interconnected. Grounded in community-engaged research, Krystal brought together multiple voices across the system to frame the conversation from the perspective of those most affected. Through this work, Krystal developed a valuable systems map to illuminate the ways in which social, economic, and environmental justice are highly interrelated. This work has provided rich insight for our team, unlocking a deeper understanding of the problems we’re trying to solve, and more importantly, uncovering opportunities for us to affect change across the system.

    — Andrea Harris, VP of Impact Strategy, Vancity

  • Collaborating with Mutatio was an energizing and insightful experience. The workshop helped us clarify our purpose and develop a theory of change to guide our work and communicate our impact. Krystal's astute and responsive facilitation supported our team members to participate fully, which has led to more alignment and a better understanding of how we individually contribute to the bigger picture.

    — Janet Webber, Executive Director, SFU Public Square

  • The Living Wage campaign in BC has gone through a lot of change in recent years, with a variety of stakeholders invested in its future. We worked with Victoria and Krystal to develop a new three-year strategy for the Living Wage program. They developed a seamless process and expertly facilitated a series of sessions with key stakeholders to understand their needs and opinions on the future of Living Wage. Facilitating online can be challenging, but Victoria and Krystal did it with ease. Their process is very collaborative, and they encourage feedback and making improvements based on the feedback they’ve heard. I’m very proud of our final output, and to work together to build a province where workers can thrive.

    — Anastasia French, Provincial Manager, Living Wage Campaign
